Anu Steel

Anu Steel is located in Bhushan Nagar, which is part of the Kedgaon area. We are very close to the Kedgaon Railway Station, so you can often hear the trains passing by while we are working. It’s a bit of a noisy spot, but it’s handy for getting things moved around. We deal with steel supplies for all sorts of local needs. Most of our days are spent unloading trucks or helping customers find the right size of metal for their projects. The yard is a bit uneven and it gets muddy when it rains, so we have to watch our step. We aren't a corporate office with a big staff. It's just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We know our inventory pretty well. If you ask for something, we usually know exactly which pile it's under. We don't use fancy computers for everything; a lot of it is still written down in our ledgers. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. People from around Kedgaon come to us because we’ve been here a long time. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure the steel gets to where it needs to go. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from early morning until evening. If you’re coming from the station, we’re just a short walk away.
