We set up Ambalika Farmers Producer Company Limited over in Hanuman Nagar. That is in Baradgaon Sudhrik, which is part of Karjat. Being in the Ahmednagar district, we see a lot of different types of farming. Most of us here have been working the soil since we were kids. This company is our way of sticking together. We do not have a big fancy office. We just meet up in Hanuman Nagar and talk about what needs to be done next. It might be about getting fertilizers or finding a better price for the grain we grew. We have a lot of members from around Baradgaon Sudhrik. It is a tight community. We do not use big words or have fancy meetings. Usually, we just sit around and discuss the problems we are facing on the farms. Karjat can be tough sometimes with the water, so we try to help each other out. We handle the paperwork and the sales so the individual farmers can focus on the growing part of the job. It is not always easy, and sometimes we make mistakes with the filing, but we are learning as we go. We are just local people trying to make a living. If you come to Hanuman Nagar, you will see us working. We do not have a receptionist or anything. Just us. We care about this land and the people on it. That is why we started this whole thing in the first place. We are just neighbors helping neighbors.
