You can find Zerry Family Salon And Academy at shop number 15 in the Riverwalk Complex. We are located in the Raikhad area, right across from the Ip Mission High School. Victoria Garden is also very close to us. Our shop is a place for the whole family to get their hair done. We also have an academy where we teach young people how to cut hair and learn the trade. It is a busy place because of the school and the garden nearby. You can always hear the sounds of the city and the students outside. The shop is laid out with different sections for the salon work and the teaching. It is not a massive space but we use every bit of it. We have been in Raikhad for several years now and we feel like part of the neighborhood. The walk along the river is right there, which is nice in the evenings after a long day of work. We get a lot of different people coming in, from kids getting their first haircut to older folks who have been in the area their whole lives. We keep things very straightforward. There is no complicated jargon here. If you want a haircut, you get one. We use tools that we have looked after for a long time. It is a practical business and we enjoy the teaching side of it too. Seeing someone learn the skill and get better at it is very rewarding for us. It’s just how we do things.
