Khushi Hair Care

You can find Khushi Hair Care at D/2/G/14 in the Karnavati Appartment. We are part of the Surya City area in Daxini Society, Ahmedabad. It’s down in Uttam Nagar. Because we are inside an apartment complex, it feels very different from a shop on the main road. It’s much quieter here, except for the kids playing in the society grounds. I opened this place because I live nearby and wanted to work close to home. The room is small, just enough for the basics. I have a sink for washing hair and a couple of mirrors. Since it’s a society shop, I know almost every customer by their first name. We talk about family and how the neighborhood is changing. I keep the place very simple. There aren't any big posters or bright neon lights. Sometimes I bring snacks from my own kitchen to share with the ladies who come in. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. The Surya City area is a nice place to be. Even though we aren't on a big commercial street, people find us by word of mouth. I think people like that it’s private and they don’t have to deal with the noise of Ahmedabad traffic while they get their hair done. It’s just me running things, keeping it honest and steady every day.
