Kirit Hair Dresser

Kirit Hair Dresser is tucked away in Raja Maid Ni Pole, over in the Kalupur area. It’s an old part of the city, and we’ve been here for a long time. The shop isn’t very big, just a couple of chairs and some mirrors that have seen better days. We don't have air conditioning or anything fancy like the newer places. It’s just a simple spot where people come to get their hair cut and talk for a bit. Kalupur is always noisy and crowded, but inside the pole, it feels a bit more like a community. I’ve known most of my customers since they were kids. We don't use any high-tech tools, just the same scissors and razors we’ve always used. The floor is usually covered in hair by the afternoon because we stay pretty busy. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day, which can be tiring. Sometimes we have a few people waiting on the bench outside if the shop is full. We don’t take appointments or anything like that; you just show up and wait your turn. It’s a very basic way of doing things, but it works for us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but the way we cut hair stays the same. It’s just a local shop for local people who want a regular haircut without any fuss. I guess we will be here as long as people still need a trim.
