Vortex Engineering

Vortex Engineering is located at number 53 in the Nalanda Estate. If you know the area, we are right near Abhishek Estate here in Odhav. It’s a busy spot with lots of trucks and heavy machinery moving around all day long. Our shop is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s full of tools, scrap metal, and drawings laid out on old wooden tables. We do various engineering jobs, mostly fixing things or making small parts that other businesses need. It’s loud inside because of the grinding and cutting, but we’re used to it. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a project that’s taking longer than we thought. We don’t have a website or any of that stuff. Most people just walk in or call us because they know we’re here. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by the end of the shift. We sweep up, but it never stays clean for long. We’ve been in this spot for a few years and have gotten to know the other shop owners around Nalanda Estate. We help each other out when someone needs a specific tool or an extra hand. It’s a practical life. There’s no corporate ladder to climb here. Just the work that needs doing today and the work that will be there tomorrow. We try to keep our prices fair so people keep coming back. It’s just a normal engineering workshop run by guys who like working with their hands and getting things right.
