Chatrabhuj Engineering Works

Down at Plot No. 4221 in Phase-4 of GIDC Vatva, you’ll find our workshop. Chatrabhuj Engineering Works has been sitting on this same plot for years. We aren't a big corporation with shiny glass windows. Instead, we have a concrete floor and a lot of grease and metal shavings. That’s just the nature of engineering. We take on various mechanical jobs and repairs for the local factories nearby. The phone rings, someone says a part snapped, and we see if we can fix it or make a new one. It’s simple work but it takes patience. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take our only real breaks. Our machines are older models, but they are reliable and we know how to handle them. The Vatva industrial area is always noisy with trucks and machines, and we just add to that noise. Finding us isn't too hard, just look for the gate near the corner of the block. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. Sometimes we stay late to finish a rush job, other times it’s quieter. We like the routine of it all. It’s a local business run by local people who just want to get the day's tasks finished properly and go home without any unnecessary fuss or complicated procedures.
