Volga Hair Art

Our shop is located at Neeldeep Tower, specifically Shop No 1 on the ground floor. We’re right at Darpan Six Cross Road in the Navrangpura part of Ahmedabad. It’s easy to spot us because we are directly opposite the Navkaar Institute. We started Volga Hair Art because we wanted a place where local guys could just come and get their hair done without any unnecessary fuss. The shop is a regular size, nothing too crazy or over the top. We have a few chairs and the usual tools of the trade like scissors and combs. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on the weekends when everyone has time off, so you might have to wait on the bench for a bit. We don't use any fancy booking systems, you just show up and we take care of you when it’s your turn. The area around Darpan Six Cross Road is always moving, so there’s plenty to look at through the window while you wait. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the regular faces from the neighborhood. It’s nice to have a chat about the local news while we work. We aren't trying to be the most stylish place in the city, just a reliable spot for a haircut. The lights are bright, the floor gets covered in hair, and we sweep it up when we get a spare minute. That’s about it for us. Just a local hair art shop trying to keep things going day by day.
