Vishwakarma Engineering

We are based at A-47 in Vikram Park, which is directly opposite the Bajrang Ashram in the Thakkar Bapa Nagar area of Ahmedabad. Our workshop at Vishwakarma Engineering is a place where there is always some kind of metalwork or machine repair going on. It is a busy neighborhood with a lot of small shops and local traffic. You can usually hear the sound of tools and machinery coming from our unit during the day. We are not a large corporation with a lot of rules. We are just a group of people who know how to work with our hands. The workshop is often a bit messy with scraps and tools, but that is just how we work. It gets very hot in Ahmedabad, so we try to do the heaviest work in the early morning before the sun gets too high. People from the area know us well and often stop by to talk about their technical needs or just to say hello. We don't have a formal reception area; you just walk in and talk to whoever is available. We have been in this spot for a long time and have seen the neighborhood change, but our workshop stays pretty much the same. It is a simple, honest way to make a living, and we take some pride in just getting the engineering jobs done without any fuss.
