Shivam Engineers

We are located at Plot No. 512/1 on Road No. 2 in the Gidc. It’s a good spot because the road is wide enough for the delivery trucks. Shivam Engineers started out with just two of us and a single machine. Now we have a few more people, but the way we work hasn't changed much. We focus on the engineering side of things, mostly turning and milling. The shop floor has that smell of coolants and metal shavings that stays on your clothes even after you go home. It’s not a clean job, but it’s satisfying to see a finished part come off the machine. We have some old desks in the corner where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes the computers are slow, and we have to wait, which can be frustrating. We don't have a big company culture or anything. We just work. We eat our lunch together under the fan when it gets too hot. Most of us live in the city and commute here every morning. The Gidc can be a tough place to work in the summer, but we have some good fans and plenty of water. We don't make big promises. We just look at the specs and try to match them as best as we can. It’s what we've been doing since we opened.
