M B Engineers

Our place is number 19 in the Laxmi Industrial Estate. We are pretty close to the Chakudia Mahadev temple in the Rakhial area of Ahmedabad. It’s a busy part of the city. M B Engineers is basically a workshop where we deal with mechanical things. We’ve been here for a good number of years. The estate is always buzzing with noise from all the different factories. In our shop, we do a lot of machining and fabrication. It’s not a clean job, so there’s always oil and metal shavings on the floor, no matter how much we sweep. We have a few old machines that still work perfectly and some newer ones too. The staff here knows the machines inside out. We don’t really do much advertising. Most people find us because they work nearby or someone told them we can handle a specific job. Ahmedabad gets really hot, so the afternoons in the shop can be tough, but we just get through it. We aren't a big corporation with departments and managers. It’s just us doing the work and making sure the parts are right. If a customer comes in, they usually talk directly to the person doing the work. It makes things simpler and avoids mistakes. We just stay focused on what’s on the workbench. That is the way we have always done things.
