Pratik Engineering Corpo.

Pratik Engineering Corpo. is located right at C1/182 in the GIDC. It’s just a standard industrial unit, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. We’ve got our equipment set up inside and we spend most of our hours there. Being in the GIDC means we are surrounded by all sorts of other workshops and factories. It’s a busy environment with people moving around all the time. Our work is mostly technical engineering stuff, so it takes a lot of focus even when the surroundings are loud. We don't have a huge team, just a few of us who know the machines well. The workshop can get a bit dusty, and things aren’t always perfectly lined up on the shelves, but we know where everything is. That’s the important part. When we have a big project, the lights stay on late and the tea kettle is always running. We don't bother with fancy signs or anything. People who need us usually know where to find us. The road in front of our unit gets some heavy traffic from the bigger trucks, so you have to be careful where you park. It’s a very practical way of life here. We just take one job at a time and try to do it right. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady. Sometimes we have to wait on parts, which slows us down, but that’s just part of the engineering business. We’re just local folks working hard in the estate. We don't mind the noise much.
