Vishnu Ice Cream

You can find Vishnu Ice Cream at Door No-14 in the Bansidhar Shopping Center. We are located right across from the Rawa Bhai Shopping Centre on Vastral Road. It's a busy spot in the Sureliya Estate area and there is always something going on. My brother and I started this shop because we wanted to work for ourselves and stay in this neighborhood. The shopping center has a lot of different small businesses, so there’s always someone walking by our window. We spend a lot of our time cleaning the glass and making sure the floor isn't sticky from spills. That’s pretty much the main job when you sell ice cream all day. People come in after doing their grocery shopping or visiting the other shops nearby. Vastral Road has grown a lot lately, and there are way more cars and bikes than there used to be. We try to keep things simple and fast because nobody wants to wait for a long time when they are hungry for something cold. We have a few chairs out front for people to sit for a minute or two. The summer months are definitely our busiest time. We often stay open much later then because the nights stay so warm. It’s a lot of physical work, and our feet usually ache by the time we close up. But it’s good to be part of the local market. Most of our customers live nearby. It’s been our life for years now.
