Rushi Engineers

We’ve been here at Vatva GIDC for quite a while now. If you know the S. P. Ring Road Circle, we are just right there, tucked away in Amba Estate. It is a busy spot, mostly because of the Chhas Kendra across the way. Our workshop isn’t anything fancy. It has that smell of cut metal and machine oil that stays on your clothes no matter how many times you wash them. Rushi Engineers is basically just us doing our thing every day. Most mornings start with a quick tea from the stall nearby before we get the machines humming. The traffic around the ring road can be a real headache, especially when we are waiting for a delivery to show up or trying to get a finished part out the door. We don't really have a big office or anything. It is just a desk with a lot of papers and some old calendars on the wall. People stop by, sometimes they are lost looking for another unit in the estate, and we point them the right way. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons under the shed, but we are used to it. We just focus on the work in front of us. It is not about being the biggest name around here; it is more about making sure the parts we make actually fit like they are supposed to. Sometimes things go wrong, a tool breaks or a power cut hits, and we just deal with it.
