Vaishali Dresses

Vaishali Dresses is a small shop, number 12 in the Kanak Kala-1 building. We only have about 100 square feet of space, so it’s a bit tight in here. We are located on the Ring Road, right across from Seema Hall in the Satellite area. Satellite is a popular place, so there are always people walking by. Because the shop is so small, we have to use every inch of the walls for shelves. It can feel a bit crowded when more than two people are inside at the same time. We have a small stool for sitting, but mostly we are on our feet. The Ring Road is very busy and the noise of the traffic is constant. We can see Seema Hall from our front door, and when there’s an event there, the whole street gets packed. We’ve been at this location for a while now. It’s a simple shop. We don’t have air conditioning, just a wall fan that keeps the air moving. Our stock is piled up in a way that we know exactly where everything is, even if it looks messy to someone else. We don’t have a big sign or fancy lighting. It’s just a local dress shop where we do our daily business. We know the other shopkeepers in the building and often chat with them during quiet hours. It’s a small life, but we are used to it.
