Madhav Stichwell

Madhav Stichwell is our place located at 141/5, very close to the Ambuja Chemical factory. Because we are so near the chemical plant, there is always a lot of activity in the area with trucks and workers going back and forth. We focus on stitching and related work, and we’ve been doing it from this same spot for a good while now. The building isn't anything special to look at, but inside we have our machines set up and we keep them running most of the day. It gets quite loud with all the sewing machines going at once, but we are used to that. We usually have a pile of fabric and orders waiting to be finished, so there isn't much time for sitting around. We don't have a big marketing team or fancy logos; we just have our name on the wall and we do our work for the people who come to us. Some days are more stressful than others, especially when we have a big deadline to meet, but we usually manage to get it done. It is a local operation through and through. We know the area well and have seen how the industries around us have grown. We just keep our heads down and focus on the stitching. We hope to stay here for many more years as the neighborhood continues to change and develop around us.
