V K Engineering Company is situated right on Memco Naroda Road. We are directly opposite the Municipal North Zone Office and Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan, which makes it very easy for people to find us. The area of Memco is always bustling with activity, especially with the government offices right across the street. There is a lot of traffic and the sound of horns throughout the day. Our workshop is a place where we do a lot of precision engineering and repair work. We have been here for a long time, and the walls are stained with years of oil and smoke. It’s a busy life, and we are usually juggling four or five different jobs at once. The guys on the floor are constantly moving between the lathes and the milling machines. We don't have any air conditioning, so the big fans are always running, blowing the smell of metal shavings around. We aren't a corporate firm with a lot of rules; we just care about doing the work properly so it doesn't break. Many of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for years. They know we are right here across from Rajiv Gandhi Bhavan if they ever have a problem. We work long hours, especially when there is a rush, but that’s the nature of engineering in a place like Memco. It’s honest, hard work and we wouldn't have it any other way.
