Ulupis Salon & Spa

Our salon is located at number 36 in the Rajpath Raw House area, right off the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway. Most people just call it the SG Highway. We are in the Bodakdev part of town, which has changed a lot over the years. We are right opposite the AIS School, so we see a lot of school buses and parents dropping off kids throughout the day. The shop is actually inside one of the raw houses, which gives it a bit of a different feel compared to being in a big commercial mall. It feels a bit more like a home, I suppose. We have different rooms for the spa and the hair sections. The highway is always loud, but once you step inside, it gets a bit quieter. We spend our days mostly handling the local residents from Bodakdev and the surrounding blocks. It is a steady stream of people we know by name. We don't do any of that fancy marketing stuff. If someone likes their haircut, they tell someone else, and that is how we get by. The space is a little older now, and you can see some wear and tear here and there, but we keep it clean. Sometimes we sit out front when it is not too hot just to watch the traffic on the highway. It is a simple life running a shop here. We open up early and stay until the last customer is done, then we lock up the house.
