The R. H. Kapadia New High School

The R. H. Kapadia New High School is located in the Satellite area of Ahmedabad. It’s a busy neighborhood and our school fits right into the middle of it. We’ve been teaching kids from this side of the city for quite a while. The building isn't brand new, but we keep the classrooms functional and the blackboards clean. You’ll find that we don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just open the doors every morning and get to work with the students. Teachers here are mostly focused on the textbooks and making sure everyone understands the math or science lessons. During the breaks, the hallways get pretty loud with students talking and running around. We have a small area for outdoor activities, but mostly it's about the classroom time. Being in the 380015 area means we get a lot of local kids who walk or bike to school. We don't put up big banners or try to look like a corporate institution. It’s just a place where learning happens in a very traditional way. We have our staff meetings, our parent-teacher days, and our annual functions just like everyone else. It’s a regular school life for us and the families who choose to come here. We just try to stay consistent and keep the daily schedule moving forward. There is always something to fix or a lesson to plan.
