Ahmedabad Public School

Ahmedabad Public School is situated right near the river bank. It’s a nice spot because we get a bit of a breeze off the water, which helps on the hotter days. We aren't one of those schools with a giant glass campus and a dozen security gates. Our buildings have seen a lot of students come and go over the years, and they show it a little, but it’s a comfortable place. Every morning the area near the river gets loud with parents dropping off kids and buses pulling in. We try to keep things organized, though it can get a bit chaotic at the start of the day. The teachers here are mostly people from around the city who have been with us for a long time. We don't have a lot of fancy high-tech equipment in every room, but we have enough for the kids to learn what they need to. It’s a plain, straightforward school. We focus on the basics—reading, writing, and making sure the students follow the rules and respect each other. During recess, the sound of kids playing near the river bank is pretty constant. We don’t spend much time on fancy branding or glossy pamphlets. Most of our new students come to us because their older siblings went here or their neighbors recommended us. It’s just a regular school doing its best to teach the kids in our community and get them ready for what comes next.
