Lalji Mehrotra International School

You can find us at G-505 in the Surel Apartments. We are right near Devashish School on Judge’s Bungalow Road in the Bodakdev area. It’s a busy part of Ahmedabad, especially in the mornings when parents are dropping their kids off. Even though the name is Lalji Mehrotra International School, this particular address is more of an administrative or residential spot associated with us. Living and working in Gujarat means dealing with the heat, so we appreciate the shade around the apartment building. There are always people moving around this part of Bodakdev. You see a lot of cars and scooters parked along the road. Inside, it’s just a regular setup with some desks and computers. We handle a lot of the background stuff that keeps a school running. It’s not always glamorous work, but it needs to get done. We have stacks of forms and schedules all over the place. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we all just sit around waiting for it to come back so we can finish our emails. It feels like a small community here. We know the security guards and the people in the neighboring apartments. It’s a very local feel, nothing like those huge corporate offices you see downtown. We just keep our heads down and do the work that supports the students and the teachers at the main campus. It works for us.
