Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan

We have been operating from this spot in Sector 14 for quite a while now. Gandhinagar is usually a quiet place, and Sardar Patel Housing Society is no different from the rest of the neighborhood. You will find us over at M-7/78, which is where Arvind Kumar handles the day-to-day tasks for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. It is not a big fancy office building with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a regular house in a society where people live and go about their normal business. Most mornings start with sorting through files and getting things ready for the various schools. Being part of such a big network of schools means there is always something to do, even if it is just small administrative work. The weather here gets pretty hot in the summer months, so we keep the fans going and just get on with the day. People sometimes get lost looking for Sector 14, but once you find the society, it is easy enough to spot us. We do not have a big sign outside or anything. It is just a place where the actual work happens. Sometimes neighbors stop by for a chat or we see the kids playing outside in the evening. It feels more like a home than a corporate headquarters.
