Sanand is changing fast these days, but Lml School has its own little corner here. It’s not the biggest place you’ll ever see, but it works for us and the kids. We see a lot of the same faces every morning when the gates open up. Some kids walk from the nearby houses, and others come in on the buses. The building is solid, nothing too flashy, just brick and mortar that holds everything together. We spend our days mostly keeping track of schedules and making sure the classrooms are ready for whoever is coming in next. There’s always someone running down the hallway even when they aren’t supposed to. That’s just school life, I guess. We have a few trees out front that give a bit of shade when it's really bright outside. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of pens scratching on paper and teachers talking. Sometimes we have to fix a leaky tap or paint a wall that’s looking a bit tired. It’s a lot of small tasks that keep the place going. We don't really do big advertisements. Most people just know where we are because they live in the area. It's a quiet existence for the most part, except for lunchtime when everyone is outside. We just try to keep things organized so the kids can focus on what they need to do without too much fuss. Every day is pretty much the same, and we like it that way.
