The New Little Flower High School

Our school is tucked away at number 37 in Purushottam Park. It’s in the Chandkheda area, right on the edge of Gandhinagar. The New Little Flower High School is a bit of a local landmark for families living in this part of Gujarat. We started small and stayed that way for a while, though we’ve added a few rooms over the years. It’s a neighborhood school, through and through. Most of the kids live within walking distance. You’ll see them in their uniforms every morning coming through the park. We don't go in for big, fancy displays or corporate-style management. It’s just us teachers and the support staff making sure things run okay. The classrooms are filled with the usual stuff—posters, books, and noise. It gets pretty loud during recess. We have a small playground, though it’s more of a patch of ground where the kids play cricket or tag. The office is usually busy with parents coming in to pay fees or ask about their kids. We try to be helpful, even when it’s busy. We’ve seen a lot of changes in Chandkheda, but the school stays pretty much the same. It’s a comfortable, familiar place for everyone around here. We just keep doing what we’ve always done. It is not perfect, but it is our little community school.
