The Millennium School

We've been out here on the Surat Dandi Road in Olpad for a while now. Running a place like The Millennium School takes a lot of effort, but we enjoy the routine. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. The drive out toward the Taluka Olpad area is usually quiet, which is nice compared to the middle of the city. We have classrooms and a bit of space for the kids to run around during their breaks. It's not fancy, but it gets the job done. Sometimes the dust from the road gets everywhere, so we spend a fair bit of time cleaning up. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we're all neighbors in a way. We try to keep things organized, though some days are more chaotic than others when the bell rings and everyone is rushing to get to their buses. We don't really do big speeches or anything like that. People just bring their children here, and we do our best to make sure they have a desk and some books to work with. It's a regular school day for us, year after year. We deal with the usual stuff like broken chalk or leaky taps when it rains. You get used to the rhythm of the place after a couple of terms. It’s just us here, working through the syllabus and making sure the gates are locked at night. That’s pretty much how it goes around here.
