The India Hair Art

The India Hair Art is located in Sarangpur, right near the Ek Tola Ni Masjid. It’s an old part of Ahmedabad, so the streets are narrow and there’s always a lot going on. The shop itself is quite small, but we’ve made it work for a long time. It’s just a traditional place where you come in for a haircut or a quick shave. We don't have any of those modern machines or expensive products. Just the stuff that works. Being near the masjid means we see a lot of people throughout the day. It’s a noisy area, with bikes and rickshaws constantly going past the door. Sometimes it’s so loud we have to speak up a bit. The walls have a few old pictures, and the mirrors have seen better days, but they do the job. We don’t really do appointments or anything. You just show up and if a chair is free, you sit down. If not, you wait a bit on the bench outside or near the door. It’s a very simple setup. We know most of the people who come in by name because they’ve been coming here for years. The light inside is a bit dim sometimes, but we know our way around. It’s just a local business in a busy part of the city, keeping things straightforward and honest for everyone who walks through the door without any fuss.
