The Big B Salon

You will find The Big B Salon at number 4 in the Murlidhar Complex. We are right by the Maninagar Cross Road, so it gets very busy around this corner. Being opposite Saraswati School means we see a lot of students and parents walking past every single day. Maninagar is a lively area in Ahmedabad 380008 and we have been part of this community for some time now. The shop itself isn't huge but it has enough room for our chairs and the people waiting. We have the usual mirrors you would expect in a place like this. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast when we are busy, so someone is always using the broom. It is a straightforward kind of shop. We do not use any fancy corporate talk here. People come in, get their hair done, and head back out to the cross road to go about their day. Sometimes the traffic noise outside makes it hard to hear the radio, but we have gotten used to the sound. The Murlidhar Complex is an older building, which gives our place a bit of a real feeling. We keep our supplies on the wooden shelves behind the main counter. Everything is where it should be. This is not a polished franchise, just a local spot where we know most of our customers by their first names. We watch the seasons change through the front glass. It is a good place to work and we have been here long enough to feel settled.
