The 7 Scissiors

The 7 Scissiors is located in B/109 on the first floor of Swaminarayan Avenue. We are in the Naranpura area, very close to the AEC Cross Road. If you look across the street, you can see the Satyam Skyline building. Being on the first floor gives us a bit of a distance from the noise of the main road. The avenue is a modern building but our shop is kept very simple inside. We have several stations set up with mirrors and chairs for our work. We chose the name because it sounded right for what we do. The space is bright because of the large windows looking out towards the skyline. We spend our days handling various hair tasks for whoever walks in. It is not a very large team here, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We keep our scissors sharp and our combs clean. There is no background music usually, just the sound of the city and people talking. We don't have any big mission statements or goals written on the walls. We just want to do the job we are paid for. People from the nearby flats often come in during the weekends. We keep a stack of old magazines for people to read while they wait. It is a comfortable enough place without being overly fancy or expensive.
