Technique Engineer

We spend most of our days at Plot No-B/69 over in the Maruti Industrial Estate. Being in Phase-1 of GIDC Vatva means there is always noise and movement around us. It is an engineering shop, so things get a bit messy with oil and metal shavings, but that is just how it goes when you are making parts. I remember when we first moved into this spot, it seemed like plenty of space, but now with all the tools and materials, it feels much smaller. My cousin and a couple of local guys handle the heavy lifting. We don't have a big marketing team or a fancy front desk. People usually just drop by because they know where we are. Dealing with the heat in the summer can be tough in a place like Vatva, especially when the machines have been running since early morning. We just try to get the work done right so nobody has to come back with complaints. It is simple work, really. Just fixing things or fabricating what someone needs for their own business. Sometimes the traffic getting into the estate is a nightmare, but we are used to it by now. If you walk past the shop, you’ll probably hear the lathe running or someone hammering something out. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with whatever order came in that morning. Most people find us through word of mouth, which works out fine for a shop like this.
