Taj Salon

We’ve been sitting here at the Gateway Hotel Ummed area for quite some time now. Most people find us because they’re either staying at the hotel or they live over by the Army Cantonment. It’s a busy spot, especially with the airport so close by. You can always hear the planes taking off if the door is left open too long. The shop itself is pretty straightforward. We have the usual chairs and mirrors, nothing too fancy, just a place to get things done. Being near the International Airport Circle means we see a lot of different faces, some just passing through and others who have lived in Hansol their whole lives. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on the weekends when everyone decides they need a trim at the exact same time. We usually just put on some music and keep moving through the day. The traffic on Airport Cross Road can be a real headache in the evenings, but inside it’s usually alright. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Most of the folks who come in are just regulars who know where we are. We keep the place clean, or at least we try to, even when it gets messy with hair all over the floor after a busy rush. It’s just us doing what we do every day. There is nothing more to it than that, and we like it that way.
