Taheri Traders

Taheri Traders is situated in Lati Bazar, specifically at Aher Bhai Ni Lati on Kacheri Road in Dholka. This area is always full of activity because of all the shops and traders nearby. We deal in various goods, mostly things that local shops need to keep their shelves full. The building is old, with thick walls that keep it a bit cooler in the summer heat, but it still gets stuffy when we have a lot of stock piled up. We do not have a fancy showroom. It is more of a warehouse where we keep everything organized on wooden pallets. My family has been doing this kind of trading for a while. We know the local market and what people are looking for at different times of the year. There is not any corporate structure here; it is just us and a few helpers who move the bags and boxes around. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes of Lati Bazar, and we have to go out and help guide them. It is just part of the job. We keep a ledger for everything and try to stay on top of the numbers. People stop by for a chat as much as they do for business, which is how things work in Dholka. We do not have a big marketing plan. We just open the doors in the morning and see what the day brings for us.
