Soham Foodstuff

Our unit is number 328 over at G.V.M. S.A V in Odhav. It’s a busy part of the town and there are always trucks blocking the lane. We deal with various foodstuff items. Mostly we are just sorting things and putting them into smaller containers. The space is a bit tight because we have so many crates stacked up. We try to keep things organized but it’s hard when a new shipment comes in. The floor is concrete and it gets cold in the winter months. We have a small table where we keep the register and the phone. It’s mostly just my cousin and two other guys working here. We start around nine and stay until the last order is packed. Odhav is a noisy place with all the factories around us. You can hear the machines from the neighbors all day long. Sometimes we share a pot of tea with the guys next door. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. The address is easy to find if you know the G.V.M. area. We’ve been in this same spot for about six years now. Nothing much has changed in that time. We just keep doing the same work and hope for the best.
