Balaji Stores

Balaji Stores is right here on Main Road in Laxmi Nagar, pretty close to the PGVCL office. We’ve been at this spot in the Madhav building for a good while now. Most people around here know us because they pass by every day on their way to work or when they’re just out running errands. It’s a busy corner, so there is always something going on. We keep a variety of things on the shelves, mostly stuff people need for their homes or daily routines. We aren't a big fancy supermarket or anything like that. It is just a regular shop where you can walk in, grab what you need, and have a quick chat if it’s not too crowded. The space isn't huge, but we try to make use of every inch of it. Sometimes the stock piles up a bit high, but we usually know exactly where everything is kept. Dealing with the heat in the afternoons can be a bit much, but the breeze from the road helps. We open up early most days and stay until things quiet down in the evening. It’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day work, from unpacking boxes to checking the inventory. People from the neighborhood stop in for small things they forgot to buy elsewhere. We don't do much fancy advertising. Most folks just see the sign when they are driving past or walking their kids. It's a simple life running a shop in Laxmi Nagar.
