Surya Textile Engineering

Our workshop’s located at number 108 in the Shri Ram Estate. If you know the Anup Engineering Compound in Odhav, we are right behind the CMC building there. It’s a proper industrial area, so expect a bit of dust and a lot of noise from the nearby factories. We focus on textile engineering, which basically means we spend our time fixing parts and making sure the machines for the mills are running. It’s a hands-on job and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. The estate is always full of trucks and people moving crates around. We don’t have an office staff as such; the same people who work on the machines are the ones who answer the phone. It’s a simple way to run things. We’ve been in this same spot for quite a few years and we know the other workshop owners around here. We often help each other out with tools or advice. The summer heat in Odhav can be pretty brutal, so we have a few big fans that stay on all day. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is going on in the neighborhood. We don’t have any big slogans or marketing plans. We just know how to handle the metal and the machines. People come to us because they know we will get the part fixed without any nonsense or overcharging for things they don't need.
