Sun Engineers

Sun Engineers is located at 53 Kameshwar Estate. We are right on Nika Tube Cross Road, which is in Phase 4 of the G.I.D.C. area in Vatva, Ahmedabad. Being near the Hanumanji Temple is helpful because everyone knows where that is. The industrial estate is always loud and dusty, but that’s just the nature of Vatva. We have been at this unit for several years now. Our floor is usually covered in metal shavings or grease depending on the day's tasks. It is a real workshop, not a showroom. We have some heavy machinery that makes a lot of noise, so we have to shout sometimes to hear each other. The Gujarat heat can be tough in the summer months, but we just keep the shutters open and keep moving. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy brochures. Most of our work comes from other businesses in the G.I.D.C. who know what we do. We eat our tiffins together at noon and talk about local news or family stuff. It’s a very practical environment. We don't try to be something we are not. We are just engineers and mechanics trying to run a shop in a busy industrial zone. The temple nearby gives a bit of peace to the busy street. It is a good place to be based if you are doing this kind of manual and technical work every day. We just stay focused and get the jobs finished.
