Steelfit Engineering Co.

We are located at Plot No. 2917 in Phase-Iv of the G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate in Vatva. This part of the estate is always humming with the sound of industry. There are big factories all around us, and the air usually smells like smoke or chemicals. Our shop is one of the smaller ones on the block. We do a lot of steel work here. The name on the sign is Steelfit, which is exactly what we do. We take pieces of metal and make them fit together. It’s not a clean job. By the end of the day, we are usually covered in grit and metal shavings. We’ve been at this plot for a long time. The roof leaks a little bit when it rains really hard, but we just put some buckets out and keep going. We don't have a fancy website or anyone to handle public relations. It’s just us and our tools. Most of the people we work for are other businesses in the same estate. We help each other out when someone’s machine goes down or when a project is too big for one shop. It’s a tough environment, especially when the sun is beating down on the metal roof. But we have a good group of guys here who don't mind the hard work. We just do our bit and try to get home before the evening traffic gets too bad. That's life for us.
