Sspm Systems Engineers is run out of A/206 in the Kamdhenu Apartment complex. This is in Nirnay Nagar, specifically the Chandlodia area. It’s basically an apartment that we turned into a workspace. It’s not what you’d call a traditional office, but it works for us. We have the usual setup—desks, some old chairs, and a lot of cables running across the floor. Being in an apartment building means we have neighbors living right next door, so we try to keep the noise down. Most of our work is technical and engineering-based, so it’s usually just the sound of typing or low conversations. Getting to Chandlodia can be a bit of a trek depending on where you're coming from in Ahmedabad, but Kamdhenu is a well-known spot. We spend our days troubleshooting systems and looking over project plans. Sometimes we eat lunch together on the small balcony if the weather isn't too hot. It’s a very informal environment. We don't wear suits or follow strict corporate rules. If the work gets done, that’s what matters to us. There’s always a pile of documents that needs sorting and some hardware that needs testing. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes, but we’ve made the space our own over the years. It’s just a regular bunch of engineers doing their thing in a regular apartment. We prefer it this way because it feels more like a home.
