Sspm Systems And Engineers is located out in G.I.D.C Vatva. We’ve got Plot No 175 to 178 in Phase-2. It’s a pretty large space since we have those four plots together. Being in an industrial zone means there is constant activity. You hear the sounds of machinery and heavy vehicles all day long. Vatva is a huge area, and sometimes it's easy to get lost if you don't know the phase numbers. We’ve been here for a while, so we know the local roads and shortcuts pretty well. The dust can be a bit much sometimes, especially in the dry months. We try to keep the workspace tidy, but it's an ongoing battle in a place like this. Most of our day is spent handling the engineering side of things. We have several staff members who commute from different parts of the city. The canteen nearby is where most of us go if we haven't brought a tiffin. It’s a very practical environment. We aren't here for the scenery, that's for sure. We just focus on the projects we have. The sun gets quite hot in the afternoon, and the shed can get warm. We have some coolers to help with that. It's hard work, but we are used to it. Every day we just show up and do what needs to be done on the plots. The security guard at the gate knows most of the regular delivery drivers. It’s a steady routine for all of us.
