S.R. Engineering

S.R. Engineering is tucked away at Plot No. 82 in Sharon Park Society. We are located in the New Maninagar East area of Bhaipura which is quite close to the Hard Hatkeshwar Depot. Our days are filled with the sound of machines running and the clinking of heavy tools on metal. It is an engineering shop so things can get a bit oily and messy but that is the nature of the work. We handle various parts and components that come our way. Sometimes a machine breaks down somewhere and they bring the parts here for us to look at. We use lathes and drills to get things to the right size. It requires a lot of patience to get everything lined up just right. The workshop is not the biggest but we have squeezed in the necessary equipment over the years. We wear old clothes because grease has a way of getting on everything we touch. It is a quiet street mostly except for the noise we make during the day. Most of the people who come to us are regulars from the surrounding industrial areas who know what we do. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because the real work happens on the floor and the benches. It is steady and sometimes repetitive but it is what we know how to do. We just stay focused on the metal and the measurements until the sun sets over Bhaipura. It is what keeps us going here.
