Our place is right on the Sarkhej-Bavla Highway, just across from the Chacharwadi bus stop. It makes it easy for the workers to get here. We are the Transformer Core Division of Spi Container. The site is at Survey No. 439/1+2. It’s a big dusty area, typical for this highway. We spend our days dealing with silicon steel and lamination stacks. It’s heavy work and can be quite repetitive, but it’s what we know. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write glossy reports. Most of our time is spent on the shop floor making sure the cores are cut properly. If you visit, you might see us arguing over a measurement or trying to fix a crane that’s acting up. That’s just part of the daily routine here. The highway traffic is always noisy, but you get used to it after a week or so. We eat our lunch together near the main gate when the sun isn't too strong. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the parts we send out are decent and meet the specs. The floor is usually covered in scrap bits of metal, and we have to sweep it up every few hours. It’s a practical environment. We don't bother with corporate jargon. We just do the work, pack it up, and wait for the next truck to arrive at the gate. It's a simple process that we follow every single day.
