Pledge International

We’re located in the Soham Complex, specifically in unit Af-4. It’s right in the Soni Ni Chawl area of Odhav. This part of town is very industrial and there are always trucks moving goods around. Pledge International is what’s written on our door. It’s not a huge office, just a practical space where we manage our business. We deal with a lot of logistics and shipping papers. There’s always a stack of documents on the main table that needs sorting. The floor is concrete and we have metal shelves lining the walls. It gets quite hot in Odhav during the summer months, so the fans are always spinning at full speed. We’ve got a small team here. Someone is usually checking the inventory while someone else is calling the transporters to see where the latest shipment is. It’s a lot of coordination and sometimes things get delayed at the port or on the road. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a map. People in the complex know us as the guys who are always busy with boxes. We’ve been here for a few years and have gotten to know the other business owners nearby. We grab snacks from the local stalls during our breaks. It’s a hard-working atmosphere and we just focus on getting the daily tasks done before the evening.
