Our place, Saimach Pharmatech Pvt. Ltd., is tucked away in the Laxmi Industrial Estate. If you’re driving down Ajod Dairy Road in Rakhial, you have to look for Plot No-6. It’s a busy area with a lot of traffic, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get their goods out. We’ve been here for a bit now, focusing on the pharma machinery side of things. It’s a crowded neighborhood, but we like it because everything we need is close by. The workshop isn’t huge, but we’ve organized it so we can fit everything in. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with blueprints and tea cups, but that’s just how we work. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Ahmedabad. We just want to make sure the machines we build actually work for the people who buy them. Usually, you’ll find me or my brother on the floor checking the assembly. We don’t have a website guy or a social media person, so we just talk to customers face to face. It feels more real that way. Sometimes the rains make the road outside a bit difficult, but we still manage to get the trucks loaded. We don't use much jargon or big business talk here. We just show up, do the work, and go home to our families. It’s a decent living and we’re glad to be part of the Rakhial community and do our own thing.
