We are based at 1 Nirmal Complex on the ground floor. If you know the Navrangpura area, we are right opposite the Havmor Restaurant. There is a bus stop nearby too, so people are always waiting around outside. Our name on the sign says Smg Appliance, though some people know it as Essemje. We sell appliances for the home. It’s a straightforward business. We have the usual things like fridges or washing machines sitting out on the floor. It’s not a giant showroom, just a ground-floor space in a busy complex. Navrangpura is always crowded, and being near the restaurant means there’s always a bit of a buzz. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about what they need for their kitchens or laundries. It’s honest work. We don’t use scripts or anything like that. We just tell people what we have in stock. The floor gets a bit scuffed from all the boxes being moved around, but that’s just part of the job. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. But we just keep doing what we do. We open up, wait for the bus commuters or the lunch crowd to wander in, and help out where we can. It’s a simple life. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us here every day making sure the appliances get delivered.
