Ganesh Impex Inc. is tucked away in the Sindhi Commercial Market, at 106/3. We’re right by the Kalupur Kabutar Khana and Chokha Bazar. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s incredibly crowded and full of life. There are pigeons everywhere near the Kabutar Khana, and the smell of spices from Chokha Bazar is always in the air. Our shop is small, like most in this market. We do import and export work. It’s a lot of haggling, checking goods, and moving crates. The market starts early and stays busy until late at night. We’ve been here for decades. This place was my grandfather’s originally. Not much has changed inside the shop, just more folders and a newer computer. We know all the other traders around here. We drink tea from the same stall every morning. It’s a noisy, chaotic place to work, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. There’s a certain energy to the Chokha Bazar that you don't get in a modern office building. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Our business is built on handshakes and long-term relationships. People know where to find us. It’s a bit of a maze to get to our door, but once you’re here, you’ll usually find us sitting behind a pile of ledgers. We just keep doing what we’ve always done. We're part of the neighborhood, and that's enough for us.
