Site Engineer

You can find us at 323, Chamundanagar Society, near the Ishwaramikrupa Flats. We are right by the Vastrapur Railway Station in Vejalpur, Ahmedabad. The pin code is Ahmedabad-51. We go by Site Engineer and we spend most of our time out where the buildings are actually being put together. Ahmedabad is a huge city and it feels like it is growing in every direction at once. Our job is to be on the ground, making sure the plans are actually being followed correctly. It is a lot of back-and-forth between the office and the dirt. We deal with all kinds of people, from the owners to the guys mixing the cement. It can be a bit chaotic at times, especially when the traffic is bad or the weather is acting up. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with the fancy words. We just talk plain and focus on the bricks and mortar. Being near the railway station makes it easy for us to get around, which is good because we are always on the move. We just try to keep our eyes on the details so that the final building turns out okay. It is a lot of responsibility but we have been doing it long enough that it’s just part of the routine now.
