Shri Jadiben D G Sanskar Kanya Vidyalay

Our school is located in Sanand, and mostly everyone around here knows us as Shri Jadiben D G Sanskar Kanya Vidyalay. It is a place specifically for girls to come and study. The location is quite central in the 382110 zip code area. We have been operating out of this building for many years now. It is a simple place with basic classrooms and a small courtyard. We do not have a lot of extra stuff, just the essentials for teaching. The teachers are mostly local people who have lived in Sanand their whole lives. We see the students walking to school every morning in their uniforms. It is a very regular part of the neighborhood. We don't do much in the way of advertising because word of mouth is usually enough. People know what we do and they know where to find us. The atmosphere is quiet and focused on the work at hand. We try to keep the surroundings tidy, but with so many students, there is always something to clean up. It is an honest kind of life here. We open the gates at the same time every day and follow the same routine. Sanand is growing fast, but our school remains a constant fixture for the families who live nearby. It is just a school doing its job. We don't ask for much, we just want to keep things going as they always have been. The building gets quite cool in the winter.
