Shri Babari Ramdevpeer Agri Welfare And Charitable Foundation is set up in a house. It’s House No. 5, 62 in Sarasvatinagar, Sidhpur. We aren't a big corporation. We are a foundation that cares about the local farming community in Patan. Our work is more about helping out than making a profit. The office is really just a converted living space where we store our files and hold small meetings. Being in a residential area like Sarasvatinagar makes it feel very personal. Neighbors walk by and wave while we are working on agricultural welfare projects. It is a quiet part of Sidhpur for the most part. We do a lot of paperwork related to the charitable side of things. Sometimes we have volunteers coming in to help with the organizing. The floors are tiled and we keep the windows open for the breeze. We don't have a reception desk or a lobby. If you come by, you just walk in and someone will be there to talk. It's Gujarat, so we always have some cold water or tea for visitors. The foundation name is quite long, but people around here just call us by the shorter version. We are just trying to do some good for the farmers around Patan. It’s practical work that takes up all our time, but it feels right to be doing it from a home office.
