Pramukh Agri Clinic

You can find us in Shahwadi Village, right on Narol Road in Ahmedabad. It is a bit of a dusty spot because of all the trucks that go by on the main road. We call it an agri clinic because that’s what we do—we help out with farming stuff. People from the surrounding villages drop by to talk about their crops or to ask what might be wrong with their soil. It’s a small building, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, we have some bags of supplies and a few charts on the wall. It’s not like a doctor's clinic for people; it’s more for the plants and the fields. We spend a lot of time chatting with the farmers who come in. They usually have a lot to say about the rain or the lack of it. We try to give them some honest advice based on what we’ve seen working in other parts of Ahmedabad. The floor is usually covered in a bit of mud or dirt from the boots coming in and out. We don't have a secretary or a waiting room. You just walk in and we talk. It is a very local way of doing things. We have been on Narol Road for a while now and most of the regulars just stop their tractors right outside when they see us open. It’s just how we operate day in and day out.
