Thee Subhashini Traders

Thee Subhashini Traders is up on the third floor, room 302, in Atma House. If you’ve ever been down Ashram Road, you know it’s a busy stretch of road with a lot going on. Our place is tucked away in the building, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the sidewalk. It’s an older building, but it serves its purpose. We have a modest setup here. A few chairs for visitors, some computers, and stacks of ledgers that probably need more organizing than they get. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves and handle things our own way. We don’t go in for big corporate meetings or long-term strategy talks. Usually, we just look at what needs to be done today and we do it. The tea guy comes around a few times a day, which is always a nice break. Working on Ashram Road means we’re close to everything, which is handy for getting errands done. Sometimes the elevator in Atma House acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. It’s just part of the daily routine. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. It’s just us here, answering phones and keeping track of the trade. It's a living, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
