Shree Mahavir Engineering

You can find us over at Plot No. 12 in the Mahalaxmi Estate, which is part of the Vatva GIDC area. Shree Mahavir Engineering is basically an industrial workshop. If you’ve ever been to Vatva, you know it’s full of smoke, noise, and people in grease-stained shirts. We fit right in. Our shop floor is usually busy with someone welding or grinding something down. It’s loud, so we usually have to shout to be heard over the machines. Bombay Conductor is the landmark we tell everyone to look for. The building itself is just concrete and metal, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s a different story. There’s a lot of rhythm to the work, even if it looks like chaos to someone visiting. We’ve got some heavy equipment that’s been with us since the start. It needs a lot of oil and attention, but it doesn't let us down. The office is just a tiny corner with a fan and some old ledgers. We don’t have a marketing team or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from people knowing what we can do with a piece of steel. It’s hard work and your hands are never really clean, but there’s a good feeling in finishing a job. We just keep at it, day after day, in the heart of the industrial estate.
